Focus on The Breath

It seems like the more and more we view design and aesthetic today we see more and more use of negative space and white walls. Love it or a hate it, this design trend that has been happening for maybe the past six or seven years is now essential everywhere. It is both elegant yet modest and lends itself to be interpreted by its surroundings or furnishings of the room. What I have found is that the color white helps me focus on my breath. It allows me to reset, and remember to be still and calm, and yet, pairing it with a bold orange accent rug and all of a sudden the color is receiving energy. White receives what it is around. Pair it with bold strong colors or neutrals and the energy will shift. Either way, white walls are going to be around for a while, I’m embracing them, you should too.
